  1. Job Posting and Application Submission
    • The position is advertised on relevant job boards, social media, and the practice's website.
    • Interested candidates submit their applications, including a resume, cover letter, and any relevant certifications or licenses.
  2. Initial Application Review
    • The hiring team reviews all submitted applications to identify candidates who meet the qualifications and experience requirements.
    • Selected candidates are contacted for an initial interview.
  3. Initial Interview
    • Candidates participate in a structured interview, either in-person or via video conferencing. This interview focuses on assessing the candidate's qualifications, experience with pediatric populations, and alignment with the practice's mission and values.
    • Questions may cover clinical skills, approaches to therapy, communication with families, and handling specific scenarios.
  4. In-Person Demo or Case Study Review
    • Candidates who successfully complete the initial interview are invited to an in-person demo or case study review. This step allows candidates to showcase their clinical skills in a practical setting.
    • During a demo, candidates will participate in activities during a therapy session with a client under the direct supervision of their treating therapist. This allows for an authentic assessment of the candidate’s therapeutic techniques and interaction style.
    • During a case study, candidates are expected to analyze the case, identifying key issues and therapeutic challenges. They will discuss their understanding of the child’s needs, potential interventions, and the therapeutic approach they would take.
    • The hiring team observes the candidate's skills in working with the child and their ability to communicate effectively with parents or caregivers.
  5. Feedback and Evaluation
    • Following the in-person demo or case study review, the hiring team convenes to discuss each candidate's performance. Feedback is gathered from all team members involved in the process.
    • Candidates are evaluated on their clinical skills, creativity, adaptability, and interpersonal communication.
  6. Job Offer
    • The selected candidate is offered the position, which includes details about compensation, benefits, and start date.
    • Upon acceptance of the offer, the candidate will complete any required background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
  7. Onboarding Process
    • Once hired, the new employee undergoes an onboarding process that includes orientation, training, and familiarization with practice policies, procedures, and team members.
