Description: Mommy and Me Group: Language Growth in the Beginning Stages focuses on building relationships with other parents and caregivers in the community who are navigating parenting while supporting the development of your child through natural play and interactions. This group will focus on building relationships and enhancing language development!

As a reminder, this group is open for caregivers and children from birth to 12 months who are participating in the group. Due to the limited amount of space, siblings are unable to attend.

Meet our group leader: My name is Olivia Benson. I am a pediatric speech and language pathologist at Basal Therapies. I am a mom to a 17-month-old little boy! I wanted to create a space where both of my roles could come together. I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of little ones through natural play and interactions while creating an environment for mothers to come together to talk about the challenges and successes of motherhood. By attending the Mommy and Me Group, I plan for you to be able to become more familiar with the developmental milestones for speech and language skills in these early developing stages as well as ways to implement them in your daily routines! In addition, I would love to connect mothers in our community on a more personal level!
